What do YOU think?

When I had Caylee I seriously considered buying a baby wrap or baby sling.  I looked at a ton of different ones on eBay & Amazon, but I became so overwhelmed with all the options I decided to not pursue it.  Well, the thought/desire is back.  Why?  As much as I enjoy the bjorn I was given when we had Cami, I am really needing something that is easier on my back.  Just like I did with the girls, Caleb will be in some sort of sling or carrier for the upcoming football season.  What draws me to the sling the most is the fact that you are suppose to be able to nurse when the baby is in it.  This would be a HUGE plus for me during games & other outings.  Caleb is so distracted when he's eating I can't wear a nursing cover, he just stares at the pattern of the material.  With the slings you can usually get either a double sided one with one side being a solid color, or buy a solid color.  Am I making sense?  This is what I need for you, your opinion.  Take a look at these & tell me if you have used or know someone who used any of these styles & what you or they thought of it.
Thanks in advance for your input!

I've had friends use/wear the native ones... the other ones seem to be so bulky/long and harder to use instead of just flinging it around your body!! Plus he can sit on your hip when he is bigger still using the native sling.

Jess--I've had a sling since Baby #2 and loved it. Mine is similar in style to the Mayan one. It was really comfy (make sure you wear it tight enough--if it's too loose it hurts your back) and my babies slept in it a lot. I think it would be super handy to have for football games. Especially because then you'll still have two free hands to help with the girls :)

I have a moby wrap for Elek...we love it. It doesn't hurt my back and it can be wrap something like 16 different ways. They had one in Target last time I was there, I ordered mine from mobywrap.com.

I haven't ever used a sling before, and I know you probably don't want anymore options...but on a message board that I read, a bunch of people have been raving about the sleepy wrap (www.sleepywrap.com). Good luck on finding the perfect sling!

The sling works for my daughter in law, Nadia and Baby Lukas...he is more peaceful when he is snug against mommy and it is easy to feed in public.
