Sisters ROCK!

My sister & 3 of her kiddos came to spend a few days with me. It was beyond wonderful to have them all here. What a fun, great way to break-up the time that my better half is out of town! And to have another mama in the house, is a huge help too! Know what I mean?
My sister gently reminded me that even though I feel like I've been piled with day upon day of bad days, I still need to find my blessings from the Lord in them. Right she is!

Having some over-due sister time with Cath. We ate popcorn, jelly beans & she painted my hair all while watching 'The Devil Wears Prada'.

The leisure of running to Fantastic Sam's first thing this morning to add a whole new cut to go with my newly painted hair! (My fearless sis kept my crazies busy while I took a 30 minute time-out, thanks so much Cath!)

Being given a thumbs-up by someone I trust and admire when it comes to finding a good study book. I have been looking forward to going through "Made To Crave" for a while, in hopes to do a small group study with it. Cath did me the honor of reading most of the book and was liking what she read. I now will find the time to read it myself.
Anyone else interested in doing the study guide that goes with this book?

Skype! It's priceless to see my sweetie most nights while he is traveling. The kids love it too!

As I type this post, my sweet LadyBug is asleep in bed next to me. Listening to her steady breathing and having her inch closer to me, even while sleeping = all night snuggles with my first born. Doesn't matter she is 6 1/2 (the 1/2 is very important to her) we still enjoy our snuggles & it's not easy with a little sister & brother around who always want in on the snuggle action.

So, there's 5. All from just the past few days! Yep Cath, you are right! I just need to stop for a minute and pray, there will always be blessings in my day.

Sounds like you had a great time with your sister! I don't have sisters...3 brothers...one in heaven...but we, too, had fun growing up on the farm! NOW, my daughters are my little sister-friends! Bless you, Jessica! I enjoy your posts, since I don't get to see you as often as I used to! Love, Amy
