a Big Girl bed

Oh my little girl is growing up! We borrowed a toddler bed from my sister to see how Cami would do in a "big girl bed". While Cam put it together yesterday we made a big deal about it and I showed Cami her new comforter, sheets & even a pillow. She was sooo excited. So last night we asked if she wanted to sleep in her new bed (we still have her crib up, just in case). Ofcourse she said yes. We read her her Bible story, said prayers & kissed her good-night. I told her very clearly she was not to get out of her bed, she needed to lay there and sleep. For the next hour Cam and I sat on the cough waiting to see her blue eyes pop around the corner, but NOTHING! I finally checked on her and she was sound asleep, laying exactly how we had left her. So I didn't sleep very well all night, I kept getting up and checking on her, she did great. This morning Cam checked on her and found her sleeping on the floor right next to the bed, she had the pillow and her beloved blankie with her. She did great! So for nap time today I did the same "you stay in your bed" talk & this pic is of her, just a few minutes ago. I can't believe my baby is in a big girl bed now!
