The results are in...

...and they aren't what we'd hoped for. It seems the hospital has been trying to get ahold of me for over a week now. I didn't know that our old phone # didn't have a message on it giving out our new #, oh well. Anyway, I spoke with the nurse in charge of my blood test results and she was so nice. It seems my sugars came back very high, even on the first (of four) blood draws. I had fasted for 12 hours & it was still high, yikes! So tomorrow morning I have to drive to the hospital first thing in the morning to have my blood drawn one more time. They need to know the exact levels. The nurse will call me on Monday with the results & then I guess we'll meet with a nutritionist after that. I'm really not afraid of having pregnancy on-set diabetes, I just know my self-control when it comes to eating hasn't always been the greatest. It will take a lot of prayer to keep me in check. Of course knowing that is more for the health of my baby I'm sure it will be a lot easier to eat what I am suppose to & stay away from the sugar. Thanks for reading & prayer for me. I'll update again next week once I know more info.
On another note, tomorrow Cam & I get to take a one day "Baby Express" class, it's a refresher course for those who are already parents. I am really looking forward to it. We also get to have a tour of the hospital, that is one of my favorite parts!

Oh Jess sorry to hear it didn't come back the way you hoped, but I'm sure you will do well, like you said, it's for the baby and I know you'll do it. Good luck and hang in there, I'll know in 3 weeks if I'll be doing the same thing!

**Hey girlie, sorry that the test didn't go so well. But we know it's going to be fine and you and baby squirt are going to be fine. All things work together for good!
Luv ya!
