It's All Good

Ok, this morning I had two appointments at the hospital. AND IT ALL WENT REALLY GOOD!!!
PRAISE THE LORD

First Cami & I got to sit with my nurse case manager & nutritionist for about an hour. After they reviewed my diet & blood tests they were both very impressed. They said I have been doing excellent & to keep up the good work. I have lost a bit of weight but for now that's fine. I just have to pay very close attention to my weight (weigh every morning) & if I start to loose any more weight I have to call the nurse. Anyway, it was a real compliment when both ladies commented on how well organized I was with everything I presented to them in regards to record keeping. So, all stays the same. Continue with the diet they gave me last week & continue to test my blood 4 times a day. Every week I will be having a diet & blood test review over the phone with my nurse & in 3 weeks I go back to the hospital for an in-person review & weight in.

After that we headed to see my OB doc. After a very long wait...atleast with a 2 1/2 year old in tow who has eating most of the snacks I brought...I had a quick but informative visit with the doctor. Again, all looks good. I have great blood pressure & the baby's heartbeat sounds great. At this point because I have my blood sugars under control we are still looking at letting things happen naturally with going into labor. However if I make it to the due date of April 3rd, we will then schedule a c-section. They wont induce me because of the previous c-section. So, let's pray Squirt is ready before 40 weeks & make it known!

I am so blessed. Cam has been super amazing & supportive this past week with my diet. So I will take this opportunity to say "thanks babe, you rock"! I won't lie, it's a bit tough at times, but the more supportive my family is, the easier it is to deal with.

Jessica I'm so glad to hear your blood sugar is under control. I am sure it's not easy but your doing a great job. Keep up the good work, squirt will be here before you know it and I hope he/she arrives before your due date (but not to early) so you can have a natural delivery, good luck! I go for my one hour test next week, hopefully that will go well. Take Care!!!

you are doing FABULOUS! I know it can be really tough (especially standing in a Starbucks or sitting at a restaurant)...but, you did AMAZING this past week. I know your world is consumed with Squirt and GD but, know that we all LOVE you and are here for you! Your diet is pretty strict but, you've inspired me to eat better!

Awesome!!
THANK YOU JESUS!! for leaving the Holy Spirit to help us, strengthen us and continue to lead us into ALL good things that bring our Father in heaven glory.
Sounds like Cami did well too! (Next time you're expecting a "wait", surprise her with some beef jerky, she'll get tired of chewing before she can swallow and the rest of the snacks should last all day :)
Love you ALL, G-ma B
