Life is busy, to say the least. Here is an update...
Over the long weekend Cam painted both kids rooms. (He also did wainscoting in Squirts room.) They look great! Once I have them all decorated I'll take some pictures to share.
Cami's room is cotton candy pink & pretty much set-up. I am working on a special project that spells out her name to hang on the wall. I also have some shelves to hang & nick-knack's to add. My Mom is making window curtains & closet curtains for her room! The theme is pretty much bright Hawaiian. It's fun & hopefully she'll enjoy it for a few years at least.
Squirts room is jasper green with white wainscoting & chair railing. We are using the same nursery theme we had for our Peanut. So mostly greens with some yellow & hints of all other colors too. Again, my Mom is making window & closet curtains. Of course I just framed a picture from Finding Nemo that has little Squirt in it. That will be hung in the nursery soon.
Cam is super busy with school & gearing up for the coming football season. He's awesome, with everything he needs to get done for his jobs he always asks "What do you need me to do before I start on school stuff?" when he comes home. It's a blessing to know he is always willing to do all the home-stuff my belly just won't allow.
Onto Squirt & Mama. We are doing fine. This week I had two more doctor appointments & both went GREAT. My blood sugars are doing very well, I was complimented on sticking to the diet I've been given. They also gave me the green light to add bigger portions at dinner & evening snack times, yeah! Just today I saw my mid-wife & Squirts heartbeat sounds great. I also got the blessed news that he/she is head-down, praise the Lord! We are still on our way to a VBAC, what an answer to prayer. On the super-exciting side, it seems our little Squirt is measuring two weeks farther along then we thought!!! I have another appointment on Monday March 5th to see if we may have a March birthday instead of early April!
On that note...have a blessed weekend.
