My Ultrasound to measure just how big this little guy might be has been rescheduled for this Thursday, the 10th @ 8pm! And get this, they want me to drink 12 ounces of water 30 minutes before the apt time & NOT use the bathroom...I sure hope they don't mind cleaning up after me LOL!
On Friday, the 4th of July I had some intense pain "down there". Not contractions, but certainly something I never experienced with the girls.
Since Sunday afternoon I have been having contractions VERY sporadically. And they stay with me if I'm sitting, walking, and even laying down on the left side. (And yes, I am staying very well hydrated.) So I know something is starting to change. For those that are curious, they range from 8 minutes apart to 14 minutes. I always get at least a few to deal with.
To be honest, at this point, I would love to have this little guy 10 days before the due date. Why? Because it would be on my birthday. Now how cool would that be? I mean, I don't really celebrate anymore anyway, so I'd love to share it with my son. (That sounds/looks weird, my son, wow.) But on the other hand, my stomach hurts so bad from stretching so much, my hips are killing me, & sleep, well, hopefully I'll be able to get some sleep by this time next year ;-)
Ok, well, if the Ultrasound Tech gives me any info I promise to share it with you by Friday. Otherwise, my next mid-wife apt is next Tuesday evening.

I don't think you'll make it to your due date. He could come at any time! I am SO excited for you...maybe our babies can even share a birthday. You are in my prayers!

I'll be praying for you. I know all about the hip pain. Elek was lying on my left hip the last 3 1/2 months of my pregnancy. There were day that I limped because it hurt so bad!
Also praying that Baby Boy sleeps through the night...instantly!!
